My Yoga Journey
My yoga journey began in 2005 at a local gym in Battersea. At the time, I was a full-time primary school teacher, juggling neverending tasks and was fully immersed in an intense work schedule. My mind was restless, I was constantly on-the-go and I was fast-approaching burnout. As I embarked on my journey into yoga, I was surprised to find how it allowed me to take a break from my fast-paced life and step into the quiet and calm. Being on the yoga mat gave me the opportunity to pause, breathe and connect with my body and mind.
I completed my 250 hour yoga qualification at the Sam Rao Yoga (Trainer Plus) Teacher Training School, accredited by Yoga Alliance Professionals. In 2018, I attended a 65 hour pregnancy yoga training with senior yoga teacher and trainer, Cherie Lathey at Yoga Mama Training School in Putney, London. The following year, I went back to complete my post-natal yoga training with Cherie and her wonderful team of teachers.
I teach corporate and private 1-2-1 yoga classes in and around Maidenhead, Bray and Marlow.
I look forward to meeting you on your yoga journey.
