My Yoga Journey

Heading 1

My yoga journey began in 2005 in Battersea, London. At the time, I was a full-time primary school teacher, juggling never-ending tasks and was fully immersed in an intense work schedule. My mind was restless, I was constantly on-the-go and fast-approaching burnout. As I embarked on my journey into yoga, I was discovered how it allowed me to take a break from my fast-paced life and step into the quiet and calm. Being on the yoga mat gave me the opportunity to pause, breathe and connect with my body and mind.

I completed my 250 hour yoga qualification at the Sam Rao Yoga (Trainer Plus) Teacher Training School, accredited by Yoga Alliance Professionals. In 2018, I attended a 65 hour pregnancy and post-natal training with Cherie Lathey, a senior yoga teacher and Director of Yoga Mama Training School in Putney, London. In 2020, I attended a hip anatomy training day run by physiotherapist and 500hr yoga teacher, Andrea Leonard.  I recently completed my Yoga For Teens training with Christaine Kerr, Director of Calm For Kids and mindfulness (MBSR) and yoga teacher.

I teach public group, corporate and private classes in and around Maidenhead, Taplow Village, Bray, Cippenham and Wexham.

I look forward to meeting you on your yoga journey.
